Black and White

Here is the image for the second project, I’m debating if i should keep the entire poster black and white or if i should add some colour (either on the elephant, text, or background??)

  1. oooo! that’s a very interesting looking elephant, i’ve been watching you beside me and now i see the final product. i think this image is very effective in black and white. i think keeping the poster black and white would have an effective effect. but if you decide to add color, i don’t think you should add too many colors or else the poster would look too busy. see you monday.

  2. I agree with the previous comment. I think the image is very effective in black & white since it speaks about hopless animals that have no rights and are used by humen(am I right?). But I think it would be better to add some colours(1 or 2 I guess) on text. I think the poster will look good if you print it out!

  3. I agree with them, too. I think black and white would work better. If you put colors that has strong effect, the image of elephant may not be recognizable. Well, it’s just my personal opinion. Try out with a few colors because no one knows how it works. Anyway, it looks great! What a cute elephant!> <

  4. I really like how graphic your picture is. It made me thinkg for a second, especially because the stripes reminded me of a zebra. I read your message as all animals who are trapped. good job

  5. Jennifer I loved this image…it looked like PETA had a huge Manhattan firm design it for them to squash zoo attendence. It is always cool to see a trope such as a striped prison uniform and ball& chain ankle bracelet that is instantly recognizable even though prisons havent used them in 70 years or so. To see the black & white uniform on an animal as majestic as an elephant made the poster hyper-effective. I agree with Suzi about cancelling the ? mark after the word zoo..Greta Job, I’m professionally jealous of your talent…Ken

  6. The image itself speaks more than anything else..I dont think you would need anything else! It was a very effective poster I saw in class! The overall poster was very intriguing! It was perfect the way it was!:)
